While the Canadian Rockies is a great location for doing business, it is also a great place for corporate getaways. As a mountain man, I have done plenty of research on recreational activities on Rockies hot spots like Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise. Why not have a little fun with your coworkers and enjoy the incredible array of activities to do and sights to see in the Canadian Rockies?
Recently in Banff, I had the pleasure of meeting a businessman from Massachusetts on a corporate retreat with all of his fellow district managers. These boys sure knew how to have a good time! Between team building activities, the guys weren’t afraid to take advantage of whitewater rafting, heli-hiking trips and horseback excursions.
Another “city slicker” told me he really enjoyed the sightseeing excursions in Jasper. He raved about the view from the top of Whistler Mountain after riding the Jasper Tramway. I’d have to agree with him, it is one of the most spectacular vistas in the Canadian Rockies.
I highly recommend mixing business with pleasure in any of the sightseeing hot spots of the Canadian Rockies. It will give your team a chance to breathe some fresh mountain air, refresh themselves, relax all while building valuable team skills and learning to think outside of the box.
