A great little bar and grill, Bruno’s has been voted Best Burger Restaurant by the local paper readers. The all day breakfasts are as famous as the burgers. Melissa’s is constantly busy particularly at breakfast time where the eggs Benedict are a huge favourite. The steak sandwich platter for only $8 is hard to resist. The drink prices are quite fair especially during Happy Hour 4-7pm.

The portions in the Rose and Crown are massive. There is a great selection of burgers including bison, lamb and salmon. Mains will set you back $10-$20 and the kitchen stays open until midnight. During summer, the huge rooftop patio offers great views of the surrounding mountains.

St James’s Gate Olde Irish Pub
The St. James’ is odd. It was built in Dublin but assembled in Banff. It has an incredible 24 beers on tap and 30 single malt scotches. The steaks are renowned as some of the best in town. The menu is well varied with options such as the belly warming crab and asparagus soup. Mains cost in the region of $10 to $28.

Tommy’s Neighbourhood Pub
There is daily special in Tommy’s that changes every day varying from a great value steak sandwich for $7 to a turkey and bacon wrap for the same cost. There is often 35c wings and perogies too that go nicely with one of the main course meals such as the Shepherds Pie. During summer, there is a sidewalk patio where you can watch the world go by as you eat your meal.
